

About Monty Peerbhai DPM

Dr. Peerbhai is a distinguished podiatrist and a graduate of Des Moines University Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. During his time there, he earned numerous accolades, including Presidential and Dean’s scholarships, as well as recognition from the American Arthritis Foundation and the American Diabetes Association.

He completed a three-year surgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School’s primary teaching hospital. There, he treated over 3,000 patients and served as an assistant surgeon in more than 300 surgical procedures.

Furthering his expertise, Dr. Peerbhai spent a year in the New York area as part of a specialized training program at the Long Island Jewish Hospital System, affiliated with Cornell University. His work included performing surgical amputations and assisting with hyperbaric therapy.

His research interests focus on infection development in implanted hardware and hardware placement in diabetic feet.
Dedicated to patient care, Dr. Peerbhai provides house calls for individuals unable to travel.
